Gregor’s 83 year old dad going through the Rusty Wallace NASCAR Driving Experience in Charlotte, NC. The full experience includes going through a classroom setting to learn track safety. He then got suited up with the racing suit and helmet. After being stuffed into the NASCAR, the steering wheel has to be put on last. You don’t realize how small that opening is! Once he was on the track, the tower kept radio contact with him the whole time. You can’t see behind you, so they alert you to get left if someone is passing. It was a warm day and Earl got pretty hot there towards the end of the ride. It was pretty neat, someone can take me to Charlotte for a NASCAR driving experience, I’d love that!
